Job Title: IT Security Analyst

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Monitoring and Incident Response:

• Monitor systems for potential breaches and respond promptly.

• Investigate security events, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend prevention strategies.

2. Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management:

• Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing.

• Collaborate with IT teams to remediate risks.

3. Policy and Compliance:

• Develop and enforce security policies and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Conduct security awareness training for employees.

4. System and Network Security:

• Maintain firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.

• Secure configurations for servers, databases, and cloud-based systems.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend enhancements.

• Participate in security audits and reviews.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.

• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+) are a strong advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in IT security or related fields.

• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.

• Familiarity with security standards like PCIDSS and ISO27001.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.

•Team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
