We are currently looking for a casual staff member to join our team for domestic cleaning in the aged care sector in the Burleigh Heads and surrounding areas. Approx 15h per week with the potential for more growth. Current pay rate is $33.93 per hour plus travel allowance. Must have:

⁃ National Police Clearance Certificate

⁃ Great communication and cleaning skills

⁃ License and own reliable car

⁃ COVID vaccination

About the role As a Domestic Cleaner (Aged Care) at McKenzie Clean Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable living environment for the aged still living in their own homes in the Burleigh Heads and surrounding areas. This is a casual role, offering you the flexibility to work around your other commitments.

What you’ll be doing

• Thoroughly clean private homes including bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas to the highest standards
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to keep the home clean and well-maintained
• Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols to protect the wellbeing of our clients
• Provide a friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to our clients

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a cleaner, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently and independently
• A caring, empathetic, and patient approach when interacting with our elderly residents
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts
• Ability to follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and supplies correctly
